Haemanthus sanguineus syn. rotundifolius
I never tire of these leaves.  [Hmmm.  I wonder if you can say the same?] 
Luckily, since the plants are deciduous in the summer, they go away for a 
while so you can eagerly await their return.  The flowers of this species 
are similar to those of the previous one, but smaller.  I certainly think 
the old specific epithet was most appropriate!
